The SACCO endeavors to ensure honesty and trust at all times when dealing with its stakeholders. The SACCO is accountable to its members, the government and other stakeholders. It ensures that the culture of accountability is embodied in its internal stakeholders both individually and collectively and the stakeholders are sincere and open at all times.

In developing its products/services as well as in the provision of its services, the SACCO ensures that the product/services are customer-driven so as to satisfy diverse members and their changing needs. The SACCO adheres to impeccable and beyond reproach professional standards.

Our shareholders

Kitgum SACCO shareholders are the members of the society. Shareholding is open to any person resident in the region of Acholi Land. The resident status is a period of more than 12 months. The shareholding position is as below

  • share value is UGX 20,000
  • No share ownership exceeds 2/3 of total shares
  • Shares are not returnable but transferrable to a willing member
  • Share values cannot be used for offsetting outstanding loans or advances
  • Shares at the moment do not earn dividends
